Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology
The Department of Psychology at Queens College of the City University of New York (CUNY) announces a tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor (Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience) beginning in the Fall of 2012. It is intended that the successful applicant, after having established a campus-based research program to fulfill requirements for tenure, will go on to serve as the Director of Clinical Training for the CUNY Clinical Psychology: Neuropsychology PhD program. Candidates must have a Doctoral degree specializing in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program with an APA-accredited Internship; must be licensed or licensure-eligible for NY State; must possess a record and/or commitment to teaching undergraduate, MA and doctoral-level courses in the areas of Clinical Psychology; must demonstrate a track record of empirical research productivity. Preference will be given to candidates who have training in evidence-based treatments or assessment procedures for psychological disorders, a record of attracting extramural research funding and who have post-doctoral research or clinical experience with supervision. The candidate is expected to teach primarily at the doctoral level, but some undergraduate and MA-level teaching is likely. The candidate will be expected to establish a program of empirical research.
