Dr. Haeberlein offers behavioral sleep intervention for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Common treatment issues include difficulty falling and staying asleep, frequent nighttime awakenings, early morning awakenings, nighttime fears/anxiety, bedwetting, nightmares/night terrors, sleepwalking, and unwanted co-sleeping. Treatment typically consists of working primarily with the parents over a span of 6 to 8 sessions using a variety of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Imagery Rehearsal Therapy (IRT).
