Dr. Kazmerski is a licensed psychologist and board certified behavior analyst who specializes in pediatric behavioral sleep medicine. She provides evidence-based therapy services to children and their families for a range of sleep concerns and sleep disorders including behavioral insomnia, nocturnal enuresis, obstructive sleep apnea and parasomnias. Dr. Kazmerski is particularly passionate about providing services to children with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs who are frequently referred to the Children’s Sleep Center. A primary focus of her clinical work is to improve a patient’s ability to complete a sleep study (PSG) and adherence to their PAP therapy. Dr. Kazmerski uses an interdisciplinary approach to patient care which includes the patient’s family as active participants in the treatment. Additionally, Dr. Kazmerski collaborates with the sleep team to individualize standard sleep center procedures to meet the unique needs of the patient using behavioral techniques, such as systematic desensitization to help the patient (and their family) succeed with the sleep evaluation and medical therapy.
