Dr. Kate Kaplan is on the clinical faculty at Stanford University and has a private practice in Menlo Park specializing in the treatment of sleep disorders. Dr. Kaplan has published dozens of articles on sleep and has been treating sleep disorders for over a decade. She works with a range of sleep disorders, including insomnia, hypersomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, nightmares and adolescent sleep difficulties.

Most people who have insomnia can be helped, often fairly rapidly, by CBT-I. I have been treating insomnia for many years, and I am comfortable dealing with a wide variety of problems and issues related to that problem. I generally work by video tele-health (Zoom). I accept most commercial insurances, as well as Medicare.

I graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1984 and subsequently completed a pediatric residency in 1987. Since that time, I have practiced primary care, largely in the Pioneer Valley.
